Ray Lewis to retire after this season

Ray Lewis tells teammates that after 17 seasons he will retire after this season. Stats (via NFL Network): Led team in tackles 13 out of 17 seasons, The Ravens did not allow a 100yd rusher in 51 straight gms with Mr. Lewis manning the middle of the field, The defense only ranked outside of the top 10 5 times since 1996 and 4 former defensive coordinators have become head coaches. In my opinion Ray Lewis is the greatest linebacker to ever play the game because I had the privilege of watching him for 17 years. And lets not talk about his leadership skills and his off the charts motivational speaking abilities! He's most definitely a FIRST BALLOT hall of famer in 2018 and a once in a lifetime player that can never be replaced. I am honored to have been able to see him play the game of football. "If your not pissed for greatness then you are satisfied with being mediocre" -Ray Lewis
