It got that bad to where the biggest lakers fan had to leave because of the terrible play in L.A....This is bad! injuries or not, this team just doesn't fit Mike D'antoni's system. I said this the day he was hired! He doesn't focus on defense, and correct me if I'm wrong but Dwight is a 3 time Defensive Player of the Year Award winner, Ron Artest is slow but still an elite on ball defender, Kobe is Kobe and Pau Gasol isn't anything to sneeze at on the defensive end either. The bench is weak as well. Jim Buss wants to run this team the way he thinks he should(stubborn) instead of running it in a way to win championships!  The Lakers are on a 6 game losing streak (season high) This run and gun system will NEVER win a team a title in the NBA let alone this group of players! He made it to the west conference finals with Phoenix but NO RING! Mike D'antoni is a bonafide offensive coordinator for a team, not a head coach....at least until he adopts another way of running his offence.
