Kenyon Martin To Knicks?

According to a source the new york knicks are thinking about adding PF Kenyon Martin. With uncertainty surrounding Rasheed Wallace's stress fracture in his left foot it might be a good look. Wallace has missed the last 12 games and coach Mike Woodson says "Rasheed might start running as early as next week." Kenyon also says that he is willing to sign a 10 day contract with New York just to show the Knicks he can contribute. If the Knicks were to make this deal they would have to cut one of their 15 player roster men to make a place for Kenyon. Kurt Thomas, Chris Copeland and James White are all on one year veterans minimum contracts and could be one of the men released...(if i had to pick i'd say cut James White) bringing in Kenyon adds toughness with the interior defense, a rebounder and a PF that will bang in the paint. Even though Martin's shot isn't good like Sheed's, he can add that toughness down low we desperately need
