Let the rivalry between the celtics and knicks begin....AGAIN! After a tough game last night for Carmelo Anthony going 6 for 26 and had 20pts it seems the veteran Kevin Garnett was able to get into the head of New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony by getting personal? Did KG do the ultimate NO-NO by involving Melo's family in basketball court beef? According to sources close to the situation...(LMAOOOO) Kevin Garnett said to Carmelo "LaLa taste like honey nut cheerios"....O_O really?!? Well Melo didn't take whatever it was that KG had to say as funny and wanted to have another face to face convo with him after the game in the team bus area. Carmelo had to be restrained by Garden security and NYPD. This was only the first meeting this season between the celtics and the knicks, and being that they are in the same division, we should be in store for a heated few games this season. I love the aggression from Carmelo but I just don't want him to get out of character and fall for the banana in the tale pipe again. KG completely took him out of his game and had him taking some foolish shots along with forgetting about teammates that had better looks. This should be entertaining this season in the Atlantic Division.
